New to the forum....greetings from the Bluegrass

Longtime visitor of the website but finally broke down yesterday and posted in the forum. I'm currently living in Lexington, KY after being a modern nomad for work over the last nearly ten years. Not much to tell really, I was raised in the south where "grilling" (gas) is a sin and real BBQ is taken seriously.

Some years ago, I inherited a nice Horizon offset and cut my teeth learning to smoke and BBQ on it. Had to move a few states away and couldn't take it along. Since then I've used your typical grills and smokers - Weber, BBQ Pro, Char Broil, Kingsford, a homemade barrel, and a couple months ago I saw a nice Brinkmann offset and lugged it home.
