Hey ya'll  Found the site while looking for ideas and tips for using my new Brinkman Electric Smoker.  Never used a smoker before, but dang...I am Hooked.  Did a tri-tip that didn't turn out as well as I would have liked (the rub was the problem, meat was very tender)

Yesterday made a small batch of Jerky, and today I tossed in a rack of babybacks, and a wj\hole chicken.  Both turned out AWESOME.  Even the wife, who swears she doesn't like smoked meats, went back for seconds and tirds.

Looking forward to learning more, and getting even better results in the future.  If anyone has any tips for working wth this smoker...PLEASE send them along.  I know I need a thermometer mounted in the lid, and that will happen real soon.  What other suggestions or ideas do you have?

Welcome to the forum, Half the fun in smoking food is the trial and error.

The error kind of stinks, but  when you hit it right you are King!!!

Have fun
