Agreed Maverick ET-732 or 733. My advice is if you do get one of these units, clean the probes with alcohol swabs, DO NOT rinse under water or use a sponge to clean. The part where the probe meets the wire, is very sensitive.  Other than that I love my Mav ET 732...going on 2 years with it.  I will get a 733 when this one goes completely.

Are the maverick Bluetooth ones any better?

Never tried the bluetooth model. I prefer to look at the remote than have to unlock my phone to view the app.

If it's something you're considering, see if you can download the app to a) see if it actually works, and b) see if it's something you'd like to use.

big fan of my Maverick 733

I went with it because it ISNT bluetooth,  I have had horrible luck with bluetooth devices of all kinds and range

My headset I use while driving is great, but dont get more than 5 feet from the phone or it gets static

my Maverick works for almost a 1/4 mile from the pit, and has no problem getting signal through the walls of the house to the far end of the house away from my pit.

no way I could do that with blue tooth
