Hello, my name is Ronnie. I am 50 years old, married, and have a son currently serving in the U.S. Airforce. My knowledge of smokeology, is minimal at best, but I have become intrigued with this forum, and some of the posts after following it for a short while. I love to grill, but I want to take it to the next level, and learn more about smoking foods. I have dabbled with a couple of the old style "Bullet" smokers in the past but feel I need to upgrade my equipment and expertise. I am an avid outdoorsman and love hunting and fishing, but most of all I enjoy cooking fish and wild game for family and friends. I have my heart set on buying an MES 40 after reading the reviews. I am looking forward to this journey and meeting fellow members.

to your son for serving us proud!

Thanks guys. I got the e-course in a newsletter. I have subscribed to Jeff's letter for some time now. I have all, (from the day I enrolled), saved for future reference. We are proud of our son and all the men and women serving our country. I hope to get one of the new MES 40 units before too long and begin smoking soon. I plan to break out the old Masterbuilt "bullet" smoker and do some marinated wild turkey breast, wrapped in bacon, along with some sausage and cheese stuffed jalapenos about Tuesday. Again I thank you guys for letting me come aboard.
