Hello everyone, my name is Allen just got my first smoker for Christmas from my wife and son and was very excited to get started. I got a electric smoker Masterforge 800 watt. I got is seasoned for the 1st time yesterday and decided to do a picnic roast and some pork spare ribs today. I marinated the meats and woke up this morning at 4 am and got the picnic roast in the smoker with some hickory chips. Been cooking for almost 7 hrs now and can't wait to try them out. I have been reading the posts on here for ideas on temps and cooking times thank you for posting such easy to follow directions
