New Smoker!

Hello All, I have a huge affinity for cooking and loved smoking, but never bought one of my own. My wife recently surprised me with amasterbuilt 40" electric smoker for my birthday! I live in GA, but am a die hard Vol fan! I am really looking to learn a lot about smoking, rubs, mops, etc. I love good BBQ and it is so hard to find, so make it yourself!

Welcome to the forums!  Glad you've joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastimes...grilling, smoking, and curing great food!  There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Congrats on that new MES40, and just ask any time you need help and you'll get plenty!
