smoking with a masterbuilt electric smoker this weekend.  sounds like dry chips, vent half open,1.5hrsper pound,mustard dry rub 24hrs before, misting with apple juivce a few times during process.

questions: will i have issues with water. how many loads of chips thru burn time
 
First of all welcome aboard. What cut are you smoking? I advise using chunks instead of chips......also leave the smoker door closed, there's no need to be futzing around with the meat while the smoking process is going on.

I'm not sure about the water in your smoker....
