New smoker, with a new smoker

Hey there guys, is new to smoking, but have been interested in it for a while now, just picked up a landmann offset, just finishing the curing on it as I'm typing this. My first cook on it is going to be some spare ribs this weekend. Using some hickory chunks, I'm very excited!! Thanks for the site guys, I can already tell it's going to be a great source for good conversation and information.

Well I am WAY late, sorry guys, a busy couple days turned into a busy couple weeks.
Well Saturday went well, had 2 racks of baby backs and 4 racks of spares, they went on a couple hours late( because I got called into work) had a 6 hour cook, they weren't as tender as I was hoping, but what are ya going to do, everyone loved them so I guess it went well.
Picked up a couple pork butts I'm smoking tomorrow, this time I'm not answering my phone if work calls. Those butts are on no later than noon
