Just acquired a well seasoned MES 30 inch from a now very good friend and my research brought me here. I started smoking about 20 years ago on a Brinkmann bullet, then moved to a Weber kettle, then started using a Chargriller offset for the added space and now I have the well seasoned MES. I don't have that old Brinkmann, but I still use the Weber and the Chargriller often but I think I'll be using his electric most of the time when I'm feeling low and slow.

Located in Charlotte NC and am like the postal service, neither rain nor snow nor gloom of night..... I like to cook just about anything inside the house or out.

Favorite cut - gotta be Boston butt, pulled and dressed with an eastern NC sauce.

I cannot wait to get my smoke on this weekend! The only question is what's for dinner?
