New smoker in the LBC

Hey guys (and gals), 

New to the board and to real smoking.  Done a little bit on my gas grill using a smoker box and indirect heat but only had marginal results.  Looking to purchase the Brinkmann Trailmaster LE as my first official smoker.  Seems like it gets pretty good reviews as a "good for the money" smoker and would be easy on the wallet for a person looking to get started in the hobby.

Only been a member for a day but love the knowledge on the board.  I've got my list of mods for the new offset, Jeff's recipes and "how to" for my first "fattie".  Keep sharing your secrets for the newb's.
