Hello.  Welcome.  I see this is your first post.  Please take some time and swing over to Roll Call and introduce yourself so that we may give you a proper "Hello".  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have, and pictures help a bunch.  As for your question:  I have yet to buy one but most members recommend the Maverick ET-732 or 733.  If you scroll down the page and look to the right you should see a review of the 733 from one of our members.  Hope this helps.  Keep Smokin!

If you want one on the cheaper side i have had good luck with my Taylor.


I just ordered a Mav ET-733 and the taylor will  now be my backup.

I recently bought one similar to this one.  I think it was also a Maverick but just a slightly newer version. I think it's the ET-85. I'm thinking about uping my money for a remote model down the line. Right now all I have is a Weber 18.5 inch and a old char-grill grill that looks like a Walmart Brand grill
