New smoker/griller from North Carolina

Hello all I am new to the smoking/grilling world but I am EXTREMELY eager to get started! My dilemma is charcoal or gas??? What's the best charcoal griller/smoker??? Any advice about anything would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us! I prefer propane!  BUT....that is just me.

This is a great place to do research on what you are looking for.  Go to the different parts in the forums and ask questions.  The members will give you the pros and cons about each grill/smoker and you can decide what is best for you and your needs.
