I JUST WANT TO SAY THANKS TO ALL. I HAVE BEEN READING ON HERE FOR AWHILE. I HAVE SMOKING FOR 12 YRS. I RECENTLY BUILT A VERTICAL BRICK OFFSET SMOKER. WITH FIRE BRICK THROUGHT OUT FIREBOX AND SMOKE CHAMBER. I SEARCHED ON HERE AND CANT FIND MY ANSWE. I FINALLY BURNED OFF MY SMOKER WITH CHARCOAL AND OAK WOOD. I AM PUZZLED WHY MY CHAMBER DOORS ARE CONDENSING. THIS IS NOT A WATER SMOKE. ITS BEEN A MONTH SINCE I FINISHED MORTARING THE DOOR IN. I AM HVAC SERVICE TECH MY TRADE. SO MY 1ST THOUGHT WAS THE EXHAUST FUMES ARE CAUSING THIS. I HOPE MY 4” FLUE IS NOT TOO SMALL. EVERYTHING WAS SIZED TO FELDONS CALCULATOR. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

No idea but you need to post more particulars about it.
Maybe it needs to be vacuum treat to draw out the moisture?
(That's an HVAC insider joke...)

Sorry I can't help you out with your question. As I'm not a builder, but I just wanted to say hi and welcome. Someone will chime in with the info you need.

Chris

Could it be drawing moisture out the brick, if so it should go away on its own when they dry out.
