Looks like Steven Raichlen has a new show on PBS called Primal Grilling. I just saw it this morning and Tivo'ed it. Watching it now, but looks like something I'll like. Only charcoal smoking (sorry gassers). The first thing I saw was that he had a Bubba Drum.

Looks like it's on every Saturday (here at least) at 11:30 AM. Stay tuned.

Primal GRILLING?!?! Ugh... And what's he mean by "primal"? Primal cuts? Big hunks from a meat processor? Or...done in bare feet, knowing him ;{)

Hey GWF, I saw him last Saturday, on IPTV Channel 11, where I'm at, to me he has good tips and SMOKERS, might be worth watching.

I have recorded his shows the past 3 weeks on PBS. To me all he has done is change the format he shows how to smoke or grill what he does. He has always explained well what he was doing except now he has a fire going on behind him. Just like his other shows he leaves you with your mouth watering for more. lol

NEVER EVER cook in bare feet
Slipping, Hot grease splatter, Dropped Knives, Lord knows what the guy next to you is gonna do/drop.

Shoes are an absolute MUST!

Grill on.

From what I heard (or I think I heard), Steven is "out" at the Braidwood this year.

Dr BBQ and someone else (Clint Black) will be taking over for the summer.

So this show is probably the replacement for the whole BBQ University thing he had going at The Braidwood.

Just a semi informed guess... Internet facts are known to be thin.

I'll check this out though, thanks for the heads up!
