This is the 3 door cooler that I picked up early this spring.

After seeing some of the builds here I think I can combine a few ideas to make it work.

My biggest question is, do I need to remove all this plastic on the doors and replace it with SS?

Will it mess up my door latches?

I can just hear my wife now when I tell her this is going in the garage instead of behind it.

Not a very good picture but you can see the plastic.

Should I remove all the plastic and replace with SS?

Yes remove it .With all that you might want to get a air compressor and a air chisel to make your work easier.If their is foam behind it you need to get rid of it too.
