Hello all, my name is John, and I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. I have a Dragonfire Kamado Smoker given to me by my father in law when he upgraded to a new smoker several years ago. It sat on my porch next to my charcoal grill for several years, and I was admittedly intimidated by it. My wife and I began watching the TV show BBQ Pitmasters when it aired earlier this summer, and I began to get the urge to try out the smoker. I smoked my first pork butt (approximately 7lbs) two weeks ago, and in the opinions of my family, friends, and myself it turned out excellent. I plan on smoking another butt for a family picnic for  Labor Day tomorrow. I think this one a bit bigger than the last almost 8.5 lbs. Looks like an amazing site, hope to meet everyone and talk BBQ and meat with them.
