new MES 40

So I got a new MES 40 for Christmas. It is the JM Signature Series from Lowes (appears this is Gen 2)

Just ordered the A-MAZE-N 5x8 Pellet Smoker.

I've assembled the smoker but haven't plugged it in yet.

Any tips before I light this candle?

You might want to open the vent all the way, and cover your water and drip pans in foil. The first time I ran my MES' I sprayed the inside with Pam too. Enjoy!

Thanks. I'm seasoning it now. Gonna put some pork ribs on in a bit.

Have 20lbs of boston butt to do Wednesday night to serve Thursday.
