New to the forum, discovered it yesterday looking for info on the new model MES40" at Sam's Club to replace my aging MES40" (about 5 years old).  I'm not going to discard my old MES until it dies, but I want to have a new one on hand with the price they're at this week just in case.

Been smoking food for years, sometimes better than others though!  Smoked food drastically improved when I got the MES40" instead of using smoker packs on the grill.  Use the smoker at least once a week through the summer and a few times a month through the winter to save cooking time through the week.  Looking to start making jerky in the smoker as well, which I have never done.

Joined here, from Mid-Tenn, after lurking through and seeing the wealth of information that's already here and want to take full advantage of it.
