new member from Northern Michigan

Hello from just south of the mackinaw bridge in the great lakes. I am just getting started with smoking soon and am gathering supplies for this spring. Will be looking here for advice and will be sharing as I go along. Likely buying the Smokin-it 3 to get started. All help appreciated.   Thanks, Ron

Hey just south of the bridge, I'm just north of the bridge. Just wanted to let you know there is a nice new braunfels side box smoker for sale on craigslist in Kalkaska right now. It's listed for $70 bucks but they might deal. I have the same one and they are really nice smokers. Nice 10 gauge steel, not tin like the newer ones. I was thinking about running down and grabbing it but the 3 hr round trip just isn't worth it.
