Hey everyone..  Seems like every Hobbie I have, I always end up spending countless hours on line researching and perfecting said Hobbie. Over the years I have learned that belonging to a forum is the best way to get quick reliable answers for questions, as well as share tips, and help others out... BBQ has become more then just a hobbie to me, its almost and obsession, and as such I have decided its time to join a forum, and learn as much as I can... My weak area is smoking right now.. I wouldn't say I'm bad at it, however I can taste room for improvement... I'm currently modifying my smoker, (as I'm having a hard time keeping my temps consistent) and that's is how I stumbled upon this here fine website. I'm also here for guidance on sauces, and rubs. I'm not one to use store bought anything, I prefer to make everything on my own and create my own flavor. Nothing beats raising, or hunting your own food, creating your own sauce/rubs, and cooking it over fire....

Welcome to SMF!  You are so right about getting all the info you could possibly use to perfect your smoking skills.  Everyone here is friendly and helpful.  Oh and don't forget to upload Qviews of your smokes
