New here, have a question

Been using a small electric smoker. we love it so much and have even done parties and wedding receptions for friends so we decided to build our own but much larger, I have theinside of the box welded, was looking for a formula to tell me what I need for the electric heating system? Example.. square inches of space=how many watts. Thanks in advance. We really enjoy this place
