New guy

Not really,Signed up last year after seeing a guy on another forum say that he goes on here. I just never got a chance to post in the Roll Call so now I am.

Live in Niagara Falls,NY and got my first smoker a couple of years ago, It was a offset charbroil that I had modded with a raised coal basket and extended the pipe with a 2 1/2 inch piece of stainless pipe. Worked fine until this year. Looked at the firebox an thought it looked funny, Turns out it was rotted out along the bottom and had the support poke through under the opening. Needless to say,the barrel is going to turn into a charcoal/wood grill and I ordered a Landmann Vertical charcoal smoker and am waiting for it to be delivered.

Home to spend some time here before,during,and after I get it and get it up and going.
