Hey there everybody. New guy here from the Port Orchard, WA, west of Seattle across the Puget Sound. I’m also new to smokin’ so I imagine I am going to have a lot of questions. Don’t worry I know how to use the search function. Anyway, looks like a great forum and I’m excited to learn a lot.

No worries if you ever can't find something in the search, always feel free to ask away.
One tip on that though, if you are looking for a 3 letter word put it in "quotations", the search function uses 4 letters or more so that is how you get around that.
Have fun, a remember to take many pictures. Nothing beats a good Qview

First off welcome to SMF. Your gonna like it here cause there are alot of good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smokin. Next I think you should look up the E-course it's free and very informative and it will show you the basics of smoking. Then check this out
