Hello everyone,

New to smoking food, but happy I found the forum.  I plan on getting my own smoker soon so that I won't have to keep borrowing my buddy's that is about an hour away from me.  So far I have made venison summer sausages that taste ok, but don't look very good...Thanks to the forum I think I know where I screwed up the first attempt, and I'm looking forward to the next round. (hopefully I'll get another deer this weekend)

Well, I didn't get a deer, but I did just pick up a MES40 today. Let the fun begin. After I season it, anyway.
