New from Palm City Florida

Hello everyone.  My name is William and I live in Palm City, FL, just north of West Palm Beach.   I have owned a Weber One Touch Gold for years and we grill on it often but I became interested in smokers recently.  I wanted a Weber Smoky Mountain.  I saw a video on building the Mini wsm.  It looked like a good idea so I ordered the parts.   I stumbled across this site today and this looks like a good idea also.

We'll have the mini up and running this weekend.  I can't decide what to smoke first. Any suggestions?

William, welcome to the forum!  As scarbelly said, Pork butt is a good and forgiving first smoke.  Also, if you are able to do so, please post pictures of your first smoke so we can drool over your results!  Steve
