Hi everyone. My handle is astorwood, but my name is Lon. I've never had a smoker before but have been itching to pull the trigger for a while. I'm looking at a MAK pellet smoker, but haven't made any firm decision yet. Any info or recommendations on pellet smokers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  Welcome to SMF  Lon! I use a cajun electric smoker with the Amazin pellet smoker made by one of our members. Check it out and the compare diferent smokers. I know the MES is widely used here. Don't know much about the MAK. Good smoking.

MAK makes a quality pellet grill, make sure and research all the pellet grills out there. In my opinion the Yoder YS640 offered me the most bang for my dollar.
