My Fireboard2 has quit, and the company's customer service is horrible. Rather than hassle with them I have decided to get a new one. I would like to know what is the opinion of the the Qing audience? I prefer a one that is WiFi capable. Thanks and I look forward to y'all responce.

I have a Thermoworks Signals that I really like .
I'd second this. 4 channels that can be configured for several combinations of ambient and penetrations temp. Various wired probes available depending on your need. We have this and RFX but can't recommend RFX at this time. It is just too new, expensive, and needs time to work out some bugs and limitations. But all in all, Thermoworks make quality products and their customer service is top notch.

That $80 sale on the Signals last week would have been a great time to pick one up. I have the older Fireboard and as much as I like it and the company, I struggle with reliable probes, often using Thermoworks Pro versions with it. Everything else I have for timers and thermometers is TW, so it is just a matter of time before the FB is replaced.

I am really intrigued by the RFX but am waiting to see how the line develops, as I agree that having multiple meat probes plus some ambient/pit probe solution could add up quickly. I would also like to get a sense of the longevity of the RFX probe, as replacements will be costly.

It will most likely be quite sometime before one can get a sense on the longevity of the RFX probes. From both reading here and talking directly with their tech support the probes set to 3º will last 50+ hours on a full charge. When set to 1º temp change it drops to somewhere around 17+ hours. I did go through their RMA procedure sending back both the Gateway and 2 probes. Their engineers tested them thoroughly and verified they were operating within those parameters however offered to instead send me a completely new set of equipment which I gladly accepted. The probs I got back had serial numbers well above those I originally received after pre-ordering. Have them now on test sitting on the office desk set to 1º temp change w/gateway set to 60 seconds.

I'll sound like a broken record, but I love my Inkbirdbbq Inkbirdbbq I-BB-4-T. unless you want wireless.
On sale for $43 on amazon right now. It's nice to have 4 probes for meat and grate level.
The app was a little quirky to get set up ( need 2.4ghz wifi). I love stepping out and being able to check temps if i go to the store or for a drink. I also have the Inkbird Inkbird INT-11P-B stabby wireless.
Not crazy about connectivity distance with bluetooth but its good for rotisserie.

I like Thermoworks but my IBBQ-4T has been flawless and battery life is amazing on it. I have forgot to turn it off a few times. Then get a notification on phone 2-3 days later that battery is getting low. LoL

Just bought one and got it hooked up to my WiFi, and it's awesome!
Good deal . Make sure you use the charging hook up that came with it to charge it .
It also controls the Billows sold by them . If you have a kettle or WSM or something like that .
