My family and I are meeting my wife's family at a hotel this weekend for a wedding.  I was thinking that I should smoke something to take with us.  I could probably swing a crock pot or something to heat food up in, but I won't have time with work on Friday to smoke something right before we leave.  Are there any ideas on something that could be easily reheated in a crock pot other than pulled pork/beef?  I was thinking the bacon wrapped chicken bites, but I do them a lot.  Anything new and exciting?

Boneless BBQ spareribs (boneless pork butt cut into 2-3:" sticks, smoked, in a BBQ sauce) 1 pot smoky, 1 pot spicy smoky.

Boneless chicken thighs in sauce (fhighs cut in half)

Spamarama - Spam sticks fried on all sides served w/different sauces on the side

Smoky chipped beef and cream gravy - to die for, serve over egg noodles or boiled potatoes

see dried beef thread below in sig line

This may be too much work, but:

toasted asparagus/bacon delights

Take a slice of cheese on a piece of toast, lay 3 strips of bacon on it, then 3-4 spears of asparagus, a spoonful of cream of mushroom soup then another slice of cheese.  Put in a toaster oven or broiler until the cheese softens to melting and serve.  Oh tastebud heaven!

How about some of Dave's injected chicken wings - make some dirty rice or red beans and rice and put that down first and top with the wings in the pot to heat -  paper bowls and spoons and you have a meal

Cook a Tritip or other roast, smoke the au jus and defat ,  slice the roast thin and heat the meat in the au jus and bring along some cheese and rolls and a side salad.
