I want to build a smoker, firebox is built and i want to do a bottom mounted firebox. is that design a good and efficient way? im building a 11 gauge smoke box to go above it at 22x22x36 and wanted to know if it will work ok before i buy the steel and make the first weld

I was planing on a 24 deep 24 tall and 36 long. The top will be 12 inches and 45 degree down to the side for a door. I want to mount the firebox underneath but haven't decided if I want a flush mount or drop it down and run a stove pipe wrapped with insulation the fire box is 18 inch cube
