need help(update)

So right now i have a pitboss 800 pellet grill that is several years old and it still works but im looking at upgrading.
I know this is a dumb question but ive been looking at the rec tec 590 and the gmg jim bowie, the daniel boone is smaller then what i have now.

What i like about the GMG is it comes with the front shelf and it has the side smoke stack but its made mostly of steel.

Ive been wanting a rec tec but im not sure about the vents in the back (i know i can get the all weather vents but i feel i shouldn't have spend extra for that} what i do like is that i hear/ read that they are amazing smokers. The 700 is a little more then i want to spend.

Any help, info or opinions would be great thanks...

Based on everything I’ve read in user threads I’d go Rec Tec without a doubt.

I can't speak for other brands, but my Rec Tec has been flawless for going on five years now.

Can someone give me a measurement from the grates to the top, Thier site says 9 inches and that seems small..

Well I went ahead and pulled the trigger and ordered the RT590 with the vents and cover. Now I'm bouncing off the walls with excitement waiting for it.....
