Im building a ss smoker that resembles a sm260. The main question that I have is how big of an element do I need? It will be app. 16 cu ft. Cookshack uses 2-220v 1500w elements another brand uses 2-120v 700w elements. I can go with either 120 or 220v and 275 degrees would be the hotest that i would smoke at. I just want to make sure that i have enough heat. Last does anyone know where to buy the heating elements like cookshack uses, other than from them?
I prefer this type of element.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
