My wife called me a freak today for taking pictures of my meat

So, I'm getting ready for my first smoke and getting the camera ready to take pictures (to come soon) and my wife asks "what's the camera for?" I tell her I'm going to take pictures of my progress with my first smoke and she goes on to tell me that I'm a freak for doing so. I laughed. I suppose maybe I am, but it's fun stuff and I look forward to sharing my trials and tribulations with all of you here.

I post pics of my smoking's on my Facebook page. My wife commented on one stating that "I have more pics of my meat online then Ron Jeremy."

My wife is forum challenged. She has no idea what it is like to share your hobby through a internet forum. But she accepts my participation in them. She has grown used to it over the years because I have belonged to many classic muscle car forums where taking pictures of your car and posting them are a absolute requirement.

I will add that I have felt a bit self conscience (sp) (always had a hard time spelling that word) when guests are over and I am taking pictures of the smoking process. From the outside looking in it gives the appearance of obsession and vanity
