I finally broke down and bought a slicer. It's nothing fancy but does the job. It even slices through frozen bacon with the skin on.

You will love the slicer for many reasons. Just think about how much you can save buying a brick of cheese instead of slices

It's a Warning Pro 7.5". I paid $99 for it here in Canada.

cool man let us know how well or not well it works, pros and cons ECT... I'm sure a lot of us on here wouldn't mind dropping $100 for a good slicer.

cuts through frozen with fat cap huh-thats nice-sure makes bacon making more easy Andy.

So far there are 2 cons to this slicer. It is rather loud and has a small motor. But it is just a small slicer. It cleans up in less than 2 minutes, very portable. For slicing bacon 4 or 5 times a year, I think its perfect for the price of $100.
