Hi all. So I'm starting to build my gravity feed using mainly the plans from @Goldmansmokers post.
My fire box design is similar to those of the smoker builder forum ones.
Made a start on the burn chamber. 20mm steel should do

Bit more progress got the frame built and waiting for steel to finish of smoke box/ transfer tube/chute assembly.

Wow, very impressive work. Metal working is one skill I wish I was better at doing. I see stuff like your smoker build and I am simply amazed.
 
Few more bits done. Just the outside to plate and the cook chamber door. Then ready for paint

Put the last of the outer plating on today and fitted the chute and firebox door frames

All done. (Except exhaust and door thermometer to be fitted after blasting). Put all the bits and pieces on to check hole alignment.

Wow. That build is something else, 20mm plate, you could get that hot in Antartica :emoji_wink:
