Got it for free from work! I’m excited to try this today!

I didn’t brine it but I did rub it down with some of my friend’s rub inside and out as well as under the skin. I quartered a sweet onion and stuffed it in the bird.

Yeah.. nice! I like how you tied it nice and even.
Those birds are full of juices and brine from the factory anyway. Should be fine.
People brine the natural Amish kind of birds more often. They come plain with no juices..
