Hello! I have been lurking here a while now, and decided to jump in... I recently bought a Brinkmann Vertical Smoker and had my first smoke this weekend. I dry rubbed the ribs with Famous Daves rib rub over night, then smoked the ribs with a lump coal and Apple and Cherry woods... I was shocked how well it came out.. Im hooked. Check out the picture..

Great looking ribs! I just had a ribeye grilled to perfection, and then I looked at your ribs! I want ribs NOW!!!

Take care, have fun, and do good!

Regards,

Meowey

My first ribs in the smoker were absolutely horrible! Yours look 100x better than mine! They were the first thing I'd ever smoked that didn't turn out right... and they were barely edible. If this was your first smoke, and you did ribs that turned out looking that good - then you've got a good thing going there bud!
