So i want to build something like this.

ive come up with feldoncentral.com/bbqcalculator.html?cc=0,0,0,24,24,40,23040.00,7680.00&fb=20.89,16,23,0,0,7687.52,7680.00,100.1&ch=4,384.38,30.60&fi=12,2,0,23.06,0.96&fc=8.85,12.51,61.50]

does that look right?

I read you guys suggest to get firebox to 100% and then do 1.5x the opening from firebox to cooking area.

What should i change?

and can you guys show me how and what you did with your baffle plate? Does it need holes? or just straight up plate?
and how thick should it be.

Try sending daveomak a private message and ask him his thoughts he likes a challenge lol

Yes, use the information on this forum that has been prepared. Since this is the reverse flow forum, are you planning to alter the design of the above one to be a reverse flow or are you sticking with a regular flow offset style? If it’s a reverse flow, you don’t need holes, just an opening on the end of your reverse flow plate as Dave’s tutorial shows.

Here is my Lang Clone build for pictures if you just need some things to look at:

oh looks pretty! Yeah was planning on making it a reverse flow, dont reckon it would be to hard to make that into it?

As long as you follow the tutorial to get the area under the reverse flow plate and the opening at the end of the plate, that’s the only main differences.
