Nice I love those thumb hole grips. I have the same stock on my 17 HMR.

Couple questions...What is the ignition in a Thunderhawk? 209 primer?

Also, what is the scope...Looks like possibly a Bushnell?

Looks like a great price to me. I'm sure there's a few hunters on here. I agree on the thumbhole stocks, they rock!
  8. There is no special muzzle loding season in MT so not too many use them.
The thumb hole stock is also looked down on by traditional guys but there is no doubt in my mind that my wrist and arm remain in a more relaxed position and I can shoot TH stocks better.
Having used both my vote is always TH.

    Looks like a nice setup

check your by laws or DNA . here in iowa we can muzzle hunt during shotgun season
  10. Pike-I probably didn't explain myself very well, you can use a muzzleloader during big game season if you want but there is no dedicated muzzle loader or shotgun season in MT.

oh i see what your saying now, long time ago we didnt have muzzleloader eiher, then came early muzzleloader and not long ago late muzzleloader season.
is your deer or (big game) hunting rules as messe up as are's? (iowa)
