I read how Jeff cooks his brisket, he doesn't use a mop sauce. When I've cooked brisket in the past I've always used a mop sauce but he doesn't. so it has me questing myself. Can anyone shed some light on what I should do? I have his rub recipe that I am using this weekend, do you guys use a mop sauce to help keep it juice or not? Thanks for any help.

X 2 on the Mule69 post.  Want more moisture, marinate, inject the Marinade if you want,  then apply the rub and put it on the smoker, leave the door closed and have fun while it cooks.
