Hello family. I've been kinda down in the dumps over my green wood situation. I'm still unsure about what i should  use as heat source for my smoker. I have a big firebox so i need a good amount of heat. Any suggestions.

About all you can do with that wood is wait for it to season. Did you manage to find any wood that was seasoned?

I found some from a guy last week. i didnt buy much i wanted to try it out first. It burns very well

Split your green wood into small chuncks, let it dry awhile and keep testing it.

I have an oak tree in the back yard & I do just that, when I trim it I cut it up into chunks & it dries out real fast.
