I bought one of these at Sears 30 years ago to carry my knives in from store to store when I was a floater, then 20 years later when I was a district supervisor. It is 17: long, large enough to accomodate a 12" to 14" cimeter, plus a whole mess of boning knives and steels. I'd highly recommend it! And, it's only like under $9, far cheaper than the nylon roll ups!
