Might be a fun Hockey game tonight.

I am getting into hockey… I still am trying to figure the game out. I’ll be honest!

We have a local semi pro team and have went a few times… Man, what an atmosphere and so much fun!

As said, I am learning the rules… but liking it a lot! There are a few fights but are broken up quickly.

I usually cheer on with a cold IBC Scotch Ale!

I only really got into hockey a few years ago myself. We've never had hockey around here. In high school, it was football, Wrestling & baseball for me.

Well its all over and I must say , thank god for Beddinigton ( Canada's goalie )

It was a very fast paced game , all the way through.

All 4 teams gave their heart to this tournament.

3 - 2 OT Canada

I have loved hockey for many years. I have been a Kings fan since 99 came to town and was busted at work when I managed to make my way on duty to the parade when they won their first cup. My brother and I ended up on the local news while everyone at work was watching on TV. Oops!

Still I don't bother watching the contrived matches like this or the all star competitions. The same with the Olympics. To me it does not have the same meaning as a group of guys that plays together every day working for the ultimate goal of winning the cup.

Yeah, I checked the scores at the end of the day but didn't bother watching it. The two weeks of no real hockey sucked.

Been a Hockey fan forever it seems. No NHL team here but minor league affiliation always. This type of series seems to get up the pseudo Olympic vibe going and I am OK with that as it increases the sport's visibility. I remember 99 in EDM and getting traded to LAK to help gain the popularity in the US. I remember when Sid was a kid.

That being said I felt that the 4 nations tourney was a fun but annoying break in the NHL schedule. The All star game really is nothing anymore like any other "sport". The players really seem to up their game when playing for country over "team". This series was fun even without the added BS of the political world.

Next years Olympic's should be another interesting but annoying NHL break.

McDavid is a good hockey player.

Would have liked to see USA win but man what a present compared to the past all star weekend. This was awesome and hopefully brings a lot more fans and recognition to the game. Hockey players have a way different mentality compared to other pro athletes. This blew out the nba “all star” weekend by far

Yes it was a fun and fast series, and all brought out the best ,

Yes I think it is great that at the end they still shake hands and talk.

I must say that I was proud that there was 3 players from right here in my neck of the woods Nova Scotia
Sid, Nathan and Brad all grew up and played right here about 15 minutes down the road.

I think the 2026 Olympics will be just the same with more teams

I'm glad that we won BUT as already said, better to watch "a team" play rather than well, the way the group of guys were put together to play in this series.

Way too many ways for a player to get hurt (not intentionally) and their "own" team suffers their loss of one of their better players when regular play resumes.

Definitely agree that it was better than any all-star game, hockey or otherwise. Despite pre-tourney questions about whether the players would be "into it" enough to make it worthwhile, I think wearing your country's sweater meant more than enough for most all of them to step UP their game. It showed on the ice and in interviews, these games mattered more than regular season games (maybe not more than 'loffs, but only maybe).

Also, most of each team's players have, in fact, either played together or at least under the same system - Finland, Sweden, US, and Canada all have phenomenal talent-development and minor leagues - so it wasn't THAT hard for such skilled professionals, with top-notch coaches, to quickly get coordinated, even with all-new linemates.
