I unboxed this puppy today, and wondered if anyone has a similar one. I would like to change out the feet for casters, so I can push it around. I have used a Brinkman domed electric smoker for years, and I a bit concerned about the MF, as to how much (or little) smoke it will generate, as in the Brinkman I used Mesquite chunks soaked in water for several days, and put a few dry chunks in and got good results. The much smaller MF smoker/water tray is much smaller that the Brinkman. Should I put wet or dry Mesquite chips in the MF? Does anyone know a source for metric thread casters for the MF.

Soaking the chips prolongs the smoking process as the chips need to dry out first. I'm not sure about the casters but Grainger would be a good place to start.
