I've only been using my MES40 for just over a week but I felt like the cold smoker was putting too much heat in the box so I did this,
This foil duct was around $5 at Wal-Mart, the adapters are 3"/4" from Lowe's and cost around $4 each. I made a small perpendicular cut in the adapter going in the box so it would collapse a bit. So far it works great. Practically no heat transfer from the cold smoker.
