MES smokers question(s)

Found some MES smokers on sale at Cabels. One does not have the window $159.00. And the other with the window $259.00. both are digital control and have same capacity, but does not state if it is the 30 or 40. only other difference is see is that the one with the window also has a built in meat probe.

Can someone help with sorting this out? Want to get one to do small batch smoking and use it in winter instead of firing up the ole "smokeamotive".

Judging from the prices those are 30" The one that doesn't have the window shoul also have an internal probe

The one with the window does say it's the 30".

If you're trying to save money get the black one.  It might be an older model at that price though.

If you're going to spend more, go up to $298 and get the new 40" at Sams.

Yea I was just noticing that it said 30". So this is the Vert height of the smoker? Don't currently have membership at Sams but may have to get one. I hear they have some pretty good meat.

The one for 169.00 is the older MES 30'' no internal meat-probe,no internal light, no heating element access panel.

The one for 259.00 is a newer MES 30'' with internal meat-probe, with internal light, with heating element access panel, and window.

There are some of the older 30'' MES for sale that don't have all the options like the new ones have. They are usually on sale or marked for clearance.

Take a look at the MES model numbers   list this should help you out more

Thanks Eman & Jake I did find that MES 40 at Sams and already started my membership. will go pick it up on Friday.
