MES 30 panel buttons, I gotta poke for a minute or two ta get working. Can the inside of the panel be cleaned or replaced? With what?

Mines doing the same thing . On mine the button is just getting worn out . Going on 5 years . The PID mod is popular , some of the guys will be by to help you out . I just keep pushin the button ,,,, when it stops , I'll look into the PID .

You can always order another masterbuilt controller/panel and install it. I don't think they cost too much.
A PID controller will control your unit more precisely, just know that you will need to also use an AMNPS or something like that to generate smoke if you go the PID route. Also you would need to do a simple rewire job on your MES if you go the PID route. The rewire is basically cutting connectors off the ends of 4 wires and then splicing the 4 wires to be come 2 wires.

Let us know which route you decide to go with :)
