MES 40 as a dehydrator?

Has anyone modded an MES 40 for use as a dehydrator? I was thinking with the lower temps it can run at a person could mod a fan into the chip loader and do some drying. Thoughts?

All you need is dry air moving and a little ventilation, so it should work.  This post will give your question a bump, and hopefully lead to someone who has already done it.

My SmokinTex is similar to an MES - all you need is low dry heat which I have done in the house oven so your MES should work just fine
