MES 40 1200watt cost to smoke

Has anyone ever calculated the power(watts) used to smoke with the MES 40 1200watt?  MES 30?

I would not think it would be more than $5.00 for a 8 hr smoke at 225 degrees.

Google electricity cost calculator and found this.  Remember the 1200 watt burner is not on all the time to you have to due a bit of guessing.

1200 wats = 1.2kw x your rate x time in hours = your cost.....mine would be, assuming on all the the time @ $.14 per kwh 1.2 x .14 x 8= $1.35. ±

Sound! has you covered.... at 14 cents / kwh = 17 cents / hour or less.... depends on time on/off for the element...
