great post but next saturday I will be thinking of all are heros-will enjoy this long we with a grill-maybe a smoke.I was born on memorial day May 30th.1956.

Great post, TW and I thank Rivet for sending those to you. Back in the day, Memorial Day was know as "the day of rememberance" and was always on May 30th. That date has not changed for me, and never will. I will never forget the young men & women that I served with and the young men that I sent home for their final rest.

Just in case I have a senior moment between now and next Saturday, Happy Birthday, Bob.
