Medical blanket warmer build

I recently acquired a large vertical blanket warmer from a local hospital. Planning on making this into a smoker. Haven’t measured it but it’s probably 24”x30”x84”. Planning on making it propane fueled. Thoughts on using a propane stove to fuel it?
